Training pants

OneWet Pants - training pants are very useful for active babies and toilet learning toddlers - they make pottying quick and easy. There is no need to lay the baby down to remove and replace a nappy. OneWet Pants are absorbent enough to hold an accident, easy to wash and quick to dry.

I highly recommend moving from cloth nappies or diapers as early as possible, particularly when at home. Most people who make the change say that they should have done it earlier!

Adjustable Prefold Belts and Nappy Belts

Prefolds, terry flats, or other pad-folded nappies, diapers, boosters or inserts can be tucked into the belt and easily removed for quick pottying.

Noonee Wilga prefold belts are adjustable from tiny up to waist of approximately 50cm ( 16"). The latest design includes a snap fastening so that you do not have to manipulate the belt up over flailing baby legs.

Fleece Wrap Skirt/Cover

Fleece Wrap Skirts are unique to Noonee Wilga and will feature in your daughter's wardrobe from birth to three or four years old, although my 7 year old also likes to dance in hers. For your sons, a similar fleece wrap kilt in plain or checked fabric is very cool!

For an infant, the Fleece Wrap Skirt provides toasty warmth from waist to toes while still allowing quick pottying and easy nappy changes. The cross-over wrap lies at the back for double protection from moisture from the nappy.

There are no fiddly snaps or hook-loop fastenings required to remove or replace a nappy. However the snap fastenings at waist provide easy on and off when necessary and encased buttonhole elastic enables a perfect fit for any size up to 55 cm waist.

The hydrophobic properties of fleece protect your lap, sling or bedding so no additional nappy cover is required.

Once your daughter is walking, the Fleece Wrap Skirt becomes a dress or skirt and continues to provide warmth and access for quick pottying. The wrap flap can be wron at front or back, depending on your daughter's preference.

Sizing

Fleece Wrap Skirts are one size, however I am happy to make them to measure if you prefer so there is no difficulty in fitting a particularly chunky or tall infant.

Fabric choices

Fleece Wrap Skirts are intended to be made of polyester fleece for its hydrophobic properties. Wrap skirts can also be made in woollen fabric - either knit or woven. Contact me by email for details.

Open or Split Crotch Pants

These split pants are the Asian open crotch type. There are two styles - one with an elasticated waist (top image) and the other with ties at the waist (middle image).  The lower image shows a teddy bear wearing the tie style open crotch pants with a pad folded terry flat slipped into the opening.

The tie version provides a more adjustible waist sizing, and is particularly suited for newborn to six months or so of age.  The elastic waist is quicker to put on an older baby and the elastic means that you do not need a separate prefold belt if you choose to thread a nappy or prefold into the pants.

Provide your baby's waist and leg measurements for completion of the semi-custom fit of these pants. For babies with a shorter leg length, the cuff may be turned up.

Split crotch pants can be made from soft cotton interlock, polar fleece or wool interlock. If you are not sure which fabric to choose, email me to discuss.

Discreet Split Crotch Pants can be made from soft cotton interlock or from polar fleece. Choose cotton for a natural cool fabric or polar fleece for a snug fabric that does not absorb moisture.

Baby leg warmers

Many people find leg warmers a great way for keeping little legs warm during colder weather and to protect little knees when crawling. Another great use for them is to cover the gap between socks or shoes and riding up pants legs when baby is in a sling.

Elastic hidden in a soft casing at thigh and ankle prevents the leg warmers from riding up or falling down. It is simple to replace the elastic if required as your baby grows.
